Happy Birthday to Nani masi

It is Pappu masi's birthday today and after practising a lot through out the day, Vyom actually managed to say "Happy Birthday" to her on the phone!
His mum-mum has been extremely busy with work this past one week and he has complained to all who would listen - "mum-mum aw-fish" .
But Baba has been taking a lot of pix of him so that mum-mum can keep track of what "Baby Vyom" (which is what he calls himself) has been upto when she is at aw-fish.

These three are my absolute favourites

Baba puts me in the play-pen when he has to work

And takes me out in the park to play

And look what an अच्छा बच्चा I am after my dinner and bath

Hectic Week

Vyom's not been too well last 10 days, cold, flu, tummy uspets, have strained him (and his mamma's already frayed nerves). But when baba picks up the camera he's more than happy to pose.
Here is a selection from last week

Huh?

Us boys have a lot of fun hanging out together

But when my nose is runny, I need a cuddle from mum-mum too

Teddy needs a spoonful of medicine too

Mamma is so funny, especially when she is (trying to) sing

This is my romantic bengali poet look

Can I play now, please?

I need to sleep so that mum-mum can sleep too

All Grown Up

I haven't had the time to blog in the past few months what with work and moving into our (own) new apartment and all the teething problems associated with it. But today I suddenly realised that if I don't blog asap, this blog is going to get hopelessly outdated.

I mean, just looking at the pix I can see how much Vyom has grown in the past four months. He not only has so much more hair (I love the way they curl at the end) but in all other respects too, the way he runs around the place and plays with everyone, recognises people and things and actions and talks and talks and talks (his vocabulary almost doubles every week and he copies everything anyone tries to say). He loves to sing and dance and will put up his hand like a hindustani classical singer and burst out in melodies and words of his own. There is nothing very classical about the way he dances though. It is all Govinda-ala-re ishtyle like a pakka sadak-chaap majnu, as we hardly ever watch TV and definitely don't know anyone who dances this way, it is a mystery where he picked it up.

Any way, it is hard to put all of the last four months in one post, so, I'll just upload some pix and try to blog more regularly
